A lot of people have been planning their teams for months, are excited about the Car Rally (which is THIS Saturday), and have put off signing up ’til the last minute. You’re killing me, people…killing me!

Sign-up closes at 11:59PM tonight! It’s my birthday today and best present you can give me is getting off your procrastinating duff and registering for the Car Rally (which, in case it was unclear, is also my birthday party).

In the event that fewer than 5 teams sign up, I’m going to refund the registration fee and just have a small dinner party at my house. It’ll work out though. I know it will. So sign up now! (’cause seriously…the Car Rally is going to be AWESOME!)

So, my goal with offering 50 points to the first ten teams to sign up was to get teams signed up quickly.  At this point, I know of a bunch of teams that are put together that just haven’t gotten around to registering.  So, once again, in the interest of putting a fire under your butts, I’m putting a deadline for those 50 points: July 9th.

It’s a full month before the Car Rally, so it you’re one of the first ten teams to sign up, and you do it before 11:59pm on July 9th, you get 50 points off the bat.  Otherwise, those teams that did register early will have the advantage over you.  So get registering!

I’ve been asked by a few different people to help them put together their team.  They’re willing, and maybe they have a friend or two who are daring enough to enter, as well, but they just can’t seem to assemble a full team.

Congrats to Laura B and her team, “The Golden Girls”.  I shit you not, they went balls-out, full-on theme.  Certainly an option but not a requirement, I’m enjoying a good laugh at four young/hot women masquerading as fogies…and not just fogies, but slutty fogies.  They were Sex and The City before there was Sex and The City.  In your FACE HBO…thank you Lifetime Network!

I’ve updated the second part of registration to creating your profile is now easier.  You’ll see what I mean when you get through the first part of registration.  It took me a while, but with some help, it’s up and running.  Enjoy!

Also, in the interest of moving things along, the first ten teams to sign up will each get 50 points toward their total score, which means that if you get your team together and registered quickly, you’ll have a 50-point advantage. Don’t pass up the opportunity! Register today!

Yes, as of today, Saturday, June 14th, with 8 full weeks until my 2nd annual Birthday Party/Car Rally, registration is officially open!

As of this point, nothing has been tested, however, it should all work. There will be minor aesthetic and functionality adjustments made to the site over the next week, but rest assured, it works.
